Sweet Sunday

Today is Sunday--the Lord's Day. We went to church and had a challenging message. The invitation lasted over 30 minutes. Hallelujah! What a pleasure it is to go to a service and know that God is working so mightily. It's also a joy to know that it is a safe place where people are willing to let Him work and not worry about what others may think. This afternoon we had a fabulous roast dinner over at Papa and Memaw's with Mimi and Pawpaw and the rest of the family. Claire enlightened everyone with her jokes from this week. Then we went home and had a nap while Justin went to work. *sigh* Oh, the day is coming when he can enjoy a Sunday afternoon nap too and we all look forward to those days. Then off to enjoy evening church after a while of Youth Choir. We started working on the song, We Will Dance and Revelation. Great songs! Evening service was great too and I'll be honest. Although I thoroughly enjoy morning worship, it seems that evening service is just so much more special. It seems so much more casual and more like a family learning together from God's Word. Thank you Lord for each service You allow us to be a part of.
